Project Overview
Kostal Ukraine is a large manufacturing company with its own design bureau and specific needs in the automotive business. Seasonal workload peaks, the shifting of key employees to participate in RFQ, and third-priority projects that are important but require resources that are unavailable — all of these create a need for flexible solutions without increasing the permanent staff.
In this case, we work on an outstaffing model under the management of the company's leading engineers, performing the following tasks:
- Design in Catia
- Preparation of drawings and series documentation
- Conducting finite element method calculations
Execution
Since the automotive market has a high standard of protection, we work on the client's workstations, fully embedded in the system. We are familiar with PDM systems, version control, the structure of projects according to VD 6.3 and the automotive industry in general.
In this cooperation we provide from 30 to 80 hours per week on a permanent basis and use the customer's software licenses.
Our main tasks are to fulfill assignments from lead designers to evaluate parts, prepare drawings, engineering changes, 3d models and transfer products to mass production after the main development stage is closed.
Project Results
For a year and a half we have been cooperating with Kostal Ukraine and continue to develop mechanical products under plastic and silicone injection molding.
Among our key achievements is taking on a number of jobs and completing them on time, which is especially important in the highly competitive automotive business.
As well as the total volume of work performed, which totals more than 2200 effective hours and continues to grow.
